LaVonda Kay (Oslager) Parsell
LaVonda Kay Parsell, 32, of Ina died Aug. 12, 1999 at St. Mary’s-Good Samaritan Regional Health Center in Mt. Vernon. Born Dec. 4, 1966, in Mt. Vernon, she was a daughter of Bob and Millie (Settle) Oslager. On July 16, 1988, she married Lyman Parsell at Ina Free Will Baptist Church. Services were to be held 10:30 a.m. today at Ina Free Will Baptist Church, with Brother David Shores officiating. Burial was to be in Kirk Cemetery in Ina. She is survived by her husband; two daughters, Laina Kay Parsell and Kayla Jolyn Parsell, both of Ina; her father, Bob Oslager and wife Martha of Mt. Vernon; a brother, Kelvin Plemons of Mt. Vernon; grandmother Edna Settle of Benton; Father-in-law and mother-in-law Ronald and JoAnn Parsell of Coulterville; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother; her maternal grandfather, Howard Settle; and her paternal grandparents, Frank and Stella Oslager. She was a member of Ina Free Will Baptist Church and a member of the Woman’s Auxiliary of the church. For those who wish, memorials may be made to the Ina Free Will Baptist Church in Mrs. Parsell’s memory. Envelopes will be available at the church.
