Mose S. Pasley Dies At Age 89; Rites Monday Mose Somerfield Pasley died at 7:50 this morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Emma Carter, on RFD 4, Mt. Vernon. He was 89 years, three months and ten days of age. Mr. Pasley was a farmer Funeral services will be held Monday at 2:00 p.m. at Myers Chapl. The Rev. Ray Wilkey will officiate and burial will be in Old Orchard cemetery. The body will remain at Myers Chapel, where friends may call after 3:00 p.m. Sunday. Mr. Pasley was born October 4, 1866 in Jefferson county, the son of Isaac Newton and Caroline (Alexander) Pasley. On October 16, 1889 he was married to Lulu Cummings, who survives. Mr. Pasley was a member of the LEbanon Missioanry Baptist church. Besides his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Emma Carter of Mt. Vernon; five sons, Ulice of Mahomet, Ill., Lyman, Kermit and Paul of Mt. Vernon and Russell of Opdyke; one brother, Charles B. Pasley of Mt. Vernon; two sister, Mrs. Harret Tipton and Mrs. Lovene Doepke of Opdyke; 22 grandchildren and 40 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three sons.
