Leon Patton Died Sunday Morning at Family Residence....

Leon Patton died Sunday at the family home, 1016 North Seventh Street, at 4 o'clock a.m.

He was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Alva Patton.

Death was due to typhoid fever.

Funeral services were held this afternoon at Hopewell, northeast of Mt. Vernon.

The boy was a pupil in the 8th grade of Franklin schools, and gave promise of becoming a very useful man, had he been spared.

He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alva Patton, four brothers, Paul, Kenneth, Clyde and Robert, Mt. Vernon, and one sister, Mary.
