Eunice L. Payne - St. Louis

Mrs. Eunice L. Payne, 89, of St. Louis, died Wednesday at 9:00 p.m. at St. Louis County Hospital.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at Myers Chapel. Burial will be in Oakwood cemetery.

Friends may call at Myers Chapel after 4:00 p.m. Friday.

Mrs. Payne was born Nov. 15, 1880, in Jefferson County, Ill., the daughter of Andrew and Samatha (Sawyer) Broughter.

She was married to John O. Payne, who preceded her in death Sept. 13, 1946.

She was a member of the Epworth Methodist church.

She is survived by one son, Milford Payne, Opdyke; two daughters, Mrs. Belvia Bolerjack, Mt. Vernon, and Mrs. Ruby Whitney, St. Louis; one sister, Mrs. Myra Hicks, Opdyke; a brother, John Estes, Opdyke; four grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.
