Jacqueline Payne, 66, of Bonnie, died 12:35 p.m. July 7, 2005, at Mt. Vernon Countryside Manor.

Born March 12, 1939, in Ina, she was a daughter of Howard and Eula (Chesney) Fitzgerrell.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday at Johnston Funeral Home in Ina with Brother Brad Ryan officiating. Burial will be in Kirk Cemetery in Ina. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. tonight at the funeral home.

Jacqueline Payne is survived by three sons, Richard Douglas Morgan and wife Brenda of Mt. Vernon, Robert Daniel Morgan Sr. and wife Kay of Bonnie; and Matthew Damon Carpenter and wife Sandra of Biltmore Lake, NC.; a daughter, Kristen Danyiel Carpenter of Louisville, Ky,; a brother, Howard Richard "Dickey" Fitzgerrell of Winter Park, Fla.; a sister, Connie Moore and husband Terry of Bonnie; a sister-in-law, Linda Sue Fitzgerrell of Orlando, Fla.; a stepfather, Harry Book and wife Millie of Bonnie; four grandchildren: Robert Daniel Morgan Jr. of Linden, Ky., Chrissy Suzanne Johnston of Ina, and Cross Alexander Carpenter and Cais Arrington Carpenter of Biltmore Lake, NC; four step-grandchildren: Amanda and Jason Kramm, both of Bonnie and Nicholas and Kelly Miller, both of Centralia; a nephew, Jeff Moore and wife Karen and their sons Derek and Delton, all of Bonnie; and a niece, Marsha Jones and husband Eric and sons Evan, Garrett and Cole of Lutz, Fla.

She was preceded in death by her parents and three grandchildren, Amy, Nicholas and Shawn.
