Zulema Payne, 86, Of Wayne City, Dies

Mrs. Zulema L. Payne, 86 of Wayne City, died Saturday, July 10, 2004 at 10 a.m. in the Mt. Vernon Care Center, Mt. Vernon.

She was a homemaker, and sold Fashion Two Twenty Fashions and Sarah Coventry.

Services Set

Services will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the Archie L. Sanders Chapel in Wayne City with Rev. Jesse Allen and Rev. Byford Campbell officiationg. Visitation is after 6 p.m. on Monday (tonight) at Richardson Funeral Home in Wayne City. Burial will be in Thomason Cemetery.

Zulema was born Jan. 28, 1918 in Wayne County, the Daughter of Predis and Melba Hall Draper.

She married Albert Payne on July 30, 1934. He preceded her in death in 1999.

She was a member of the Salem Freewill Baptist Church.
