Mrs. Mary C. Peacock died at 2:45 pm Sunday at her home, 309 south 11th street, at the age of 85 years and 15 days.

Funeral services were held at 11 am today at the Pulley Funeral Home, with the Rev. Bird Green officiating, and burial was in Hopewell Cemetery.

Mrs. Peacock was born August 16, 1867 in Mt. Vernon, the daughter of Malberry and Levina (Eslick) Pigg.

She was married, in Savannah, Ill., to Thomas Peacock, who preceded her in death in 1939.

Mrs. Peacock was a member of the Baptist Church of East Moline, Ill.

Her only survivor is a daughter, Mrs. Bessie B. Beatty of Kenosha, Wis.

She was preceded in death by her husband, five brothers and two sisters.
