Howard E. PEPPLE, 74, Rte 2, Bluford, died Nov 13,1965 in a St. Louis hospital.

He was a former Jefferson county supervisor and a veteran Republican precinct committeeman. Mr. Pepple , a retired farmer, served 2 terms as county supervisor...He was a precinct committeeman in Webber township for 15 yrs.

Mr. Pepple was born Sept 8, 1891 in Jefferson county, the son of Joseph E. and Laura Pepple.

He married Ruby Green on March 19, 1913....she survives.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Bluford.

Survivors in addition to his wife are...2 sons Harold Pepple and Witon Pepple of Bluford; 2 daughters Gertrude Hirons of Waltonville and Earline Clemins of Urbana, 2 sisters Edith Wiggle of Centralia and Geneva Bohn of Yorkville; 3 brothers.... Mark Pepple of Bluford, Raymond Pepple of Somonauk, and Harry Pepple of Rialto,Ca. and 4 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
