Father of Mrs. K.E. Greene Dies In Minnesota

Emil Peterson, of Biwabik, Minn., father of Mrs. K.E. Greene of Mt. Vernon, died yesterday afternoon at his home after an illness of two months. His death followed by six weeks that of his wife Emma.

Mr. Peterson was 78 years of age.

Mrs. Greene was was en route to Minnesota to bring her father to Mt. Vernon for an extended visit.

Word of his death came only 20 minutes after she left the city and her husband enlisted the aid of the State Police to find her. Police halted her in Vandalia and delivered the death message.

She and her son Alan continued to Minnesota to attend the funeral.

Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon in Biwabik.

Mr. Peterson is survived by four sons and three daughters.
