Burrell Andy Phillips, Mt. Vernon, Illinois Burrell Andy Phillips, 35, 4060 Willow Springs, died at 2:45 p.m. Saturday, December 4, 1982, in Good Samaritan Hospital.He was an inspector for Sundstrand Corp., Peru, Illinois. Mr. Phillips was born in Mt. Vernon November 17, 1947, the son of Lester R. and Wanda Jean (Isaac) Phillips, who survive. In November 1977 at Peru, he married Marlene Schaeffer, who also survives. Mr. Phillips was a former member of the U. S. Marine Corps, serving in the Vietnam War, and was a member of the AMVETS Turner Roehm Post No. 4, Mt. Vernon. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Hughey Funeral Home, with J. Howard Kraps officiating. Burial will be in Old Shiloh Cemetery, with military graveside rites conducted by the AMVETS Turner Roehm Post No. 4. Friends may call at the Hughey Funeral Home after 6 p.m. today. Survivors, in addition to his parents and his wife, include his stepmother, Vera Phillips, Mt. Vernon; three daughters, Andrea, Michelle and Debbie Phillips, all of Mt. Vernon; four brothers, Loren of Peru, Gary Gene of Rockford, Paul of Mt. Vernon, and Joe of St. Louis; two sisters Linda Neighbors of Mt. Vernon and Carol Gray of Pittsfield; and his grandmother, Mrs.Lura Isaac of Mt. Vernon. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Burrell and Mabel Phillips and Gary O. Isaac.
