Norman A Piercy, 94, of Mount Vernon, Illinois, passed away on March 3, 2024 at his residence.

He was born May 5, 1929 in Mount Vernon, Illinois to the late Max and Dixie Piercy.

Norman married Jane Piercy and she preceded him in death. He later married Geraldine (Lokey) Lacy-Piercy and she preceded him in death on December 20, 2023.

Norman is survived by his children, Scott Piercy, Jennifer Wallace, Robert Lacy, and Tricia Ayers.

In addition to his parents and wives, Norman was preceded in death by his daughter, Kara Camille Vannatter and siblings, Alice Hale and Jim Piercy.

Norman was a devoted husband and man of faith. He worked many years for NASA at Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas as an Aeronautical Engineer. Norman worked on several various space missions including, the Apollo Mission and the space shuttle program. He was also a founding member of Clear Lake United Methodist Church in Houston, Texas.

Joint private services will be held this spring at the Inglenook Farm for Norman and his wife, Geraldine.
