Oscar Pigg Oscar Pigg, 87 of 517 South 1th, died at 10:00 a.m. yesterday at Good Samaritan Hospital. Funeral services will be h eld Sunday at Myers Chapel at 1;30 p.m. with Rev. Ross Partridge officiating. Burial will be in Bethel cemetery. Friends may call at Myers Chapel after 7:00 p.m. Saturday. Mr. Pigg was born in jefferson county on Dec. 5, 1883 the son of Thomas and Catherine (Eslich) Pigg. He worked is the sill department of the car company for 35 years. He is survived by one son, Ivan Pigg, Mt. Vernon, one daughter, Eva Lamb, Paragould, Ark.; two step-sons, Calton Musgrave, Mt. Vernon and Arthur Roberson, Decatur; one step-daughter, Opal Prickett, Mt. Vernon, seven grandchildren; two brothers, Henry Pigg, Mt. Vernon and Harry Pigg, Paragrould, Ark.; and a sister, Hazel Bell, Hawaii.
