Julia Pilson Of Belle Rive Dies At Age 93

Julia Ann Pilson, 93, a former resident of Belle Rive, died at 5 a.m. today in the Mt. Vernon Care Facility.

Mrs. Pilson was born in Belle Rive Oct. 13, 1890, the daughter of Richard Lee and Amanda J. (Puckett) Bumpus.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Johnston Funeral Home in Ina. Burial will follow in the Masonic and Odd Fellows Cemetery in Benton.

Friends may call after 6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Survivors include one son, Raymond Pilson of Bonnie; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Pilson was a member of Hams Grove Missionary Baptist Church and the Hopper Homemakers Club of Belle Rive.

She was preceded in death by her parents, six sons, four brothers and three sisters.
