Ona Pitchford Christopher (Handwritten 2-2-1973.) Mrs. Ona Pitchford, 79, of Christopher, died at 1:15 a.m., Thursday at Miner's Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the Gilbert Funeral Home in Christopher. Burial will be in Maple Hill cemetery at Sesser. Friends may call at the funeral home after 5:00 p.m. today. Mrs. Pitchford was born Nov. 29, 1873, in Jefferson County, the daughter of Samuel and Almira (Roberts) Black. She was married to John Pitchford, who preceded her in death. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Christopher. Surviving are a brother, Ernest Black, Mt.
