Dora M. Pittman Dies at Age 60; Rites Tomorrow Mrs. Dora M. Pittman, of 320 North Fifth Street, died at 4:35 Sunday morning at Good Samaritan Hospital. She was 60 years, seven months and 29 days of age. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at Myers Chapel. The Rev. Paul Sulcer will officiate and burial will be in Oakwood cemetery. The body will remain at Myers Chapel, where friends may call at any time until the funeral hour. Mrs. Pittman was born October 30th, 1891 in Jefferson county, the daughter of Erastus and Lydia (Johnson) Barnett. She was a lifetime resident of the county. She was married to Edward Pittman, who proceded her in death in 1943. Surviving are a son, Arthur Pittman of Mt. Vernon; two daughters, Mrs. Pauline Phillips of East St. Louis and Mrs. Nina Moss of Mt. Vernon; two brothers, Asa Barnett and Clemma Barnett of Scheller; four sisters, Mrs. Frank Taylor and Mrs. Annie Pittman of Tamoroa, Mrs. William Boles of Sesser and Mrs. Charles Laur of Waltonville; and two grandchildren.
