Lena (Lyon) Pollock
Lena Pollock, 89, Former Resident Fatally Injured Mrs. W. M. Pollock, the former Miss Lena Lyon of this city, died at her home in Long Beach, Calif., at 4 p.m. yesterday immediately following injuries she received when she was struck by an automobile near her home. She was 89 years, one month, and 29 days old. Funeral arrangements are incomplete, but services and burial will be in Long Beach. Mrs. Pollock was born June 4, 1869, in this city, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. W. Lyon. On Oct. 17, 1894, she was married in this city to R. W. Pollock, who preceded her in death four years ago. Survivors include on son, Charles L. Pollock of Long Beach; two daughters, MRs. C. L. Weber of Norristown, Pa., and Mrs. A. L. Irons of Atlanta, Ga.; one sister, Miss Florence Lyon of No. 3 Lyon Court in this city; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
