Louisiana PORTER, born in Jefferson County, October 24, 1859, and departed this life February 10, 1911, in this city.

She suffered much during her illness, but bore her suffering with Christian fortitude, and was ready to answer the Master's call.

She was married to Jeffrey PORTER, March 11, 1880, and to this union three sons, Fred, Ils, and George, were born. These children with her sister and father survive.

She joined the Missionary Baptist Church in 1882 and later moved her membership to the Free Will Baptist Church, in Cub Prairie.

The funeral will be conducted at the residence 1108 Welkins Street, Sunday morning at 8:30 by Rev. DEMPSEY, and interment will follow in Smith Cemetery.
