Mrs. Susie Florence Price, 82, of 1700 Warren, died at 3 a.m. today at Good Samaritan Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday at Myers Chapel, with the Rev. Ed Sadler officiating. Burial will be in Union Chapel cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel after 5 p.m. Thursday. Those who wish may make donations to the American Cancer Society.

Mrs. Price was born Oct. 2, 1891, in Jefferson county, the daughter of Delbert and Clara (Brookman) King.

She was married Sept. 5, 1909, to Hallie Price. He preceded her in death in 1968.

She was a member of the Wesley United Methodist church.

She was also a member of the Block Friendship Club, the Senior Citizens, and was a 50-year member of Royal Neighbors of America.

She is survived by two sons, Lawrence and Donald Price, both of Mt. Vernon; five daughters, Mrs. Mildred Herberg, Escondido, Cal;, Mrs. Leila Hickman, Hot Springs, Ark;, Mrs. Helen Lively, Mt. Vernon, Mrs. Rosetta Johnson, of Tampa, Fla;, and Mrs. Joann Sandy, of Caseyville, four brothers, Walter King, Bernie, Mo., Luster King of Thompsonville, Dewey King of Perris, Cal., and Roy King, of Puxico, Mo.; two sisters, Mrs. Zeltha Talbott, Dayton, Ohio, and Mrs. Viola Olds, St. Louis; 13 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, a daughter, five brothers, and three sisters.
