John B. Quinn Scheller

John B. Quinn, 84, of Route 1, Scheller, died Sunday morning at Good Samaritan Hospital.

Funeral services for Mr. Quinn will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Brayfield Funeral Home in Sesser. The Rev. Ross Partridge will officiate and burial will be in Old Baptist cemetery north of Sesser. The body will lie in state at the Brayfield Funeral Home where friends may call after 4:00 p.m. Tuesday.

Mr. Quinn was born Oct. 29, 1885, the son of Samuel and Sarah (Sleener) Quinn.

He was married to Pearl Ward for 62 years. She survives.

Mr. Quinn was a retired farmer and carpenter.

Besides his wife, survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Mildred Medlin of Effingham, Mrs. Wilma. Kawinski, of Route 7, and Mrs. Mary Bennett, of Evansville, Ind.; six grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
