Emma Rainwater Dies Near Bluford; Rites Yesterday Funeral services for Emma Rosita Rainwater were held yesterday at the Salem Baptist church, south of Keenes, at 2 pm with the Rev. Bird Green in Charge. Burial was in the Egbert cemetery near Keenes. Mrs. Rainwater died at her home near Bluford at 9:30 am December 30 at the age of 79 years, eight months and 13 days. She was born April 18, 1871, the daughter of John and Emma Fox, in Brown county, Indiana. She was married there to Geoerge Rainwater, who preceded her in death. Surviving are seven sons, John W. of Oda, Ill., Ray of Rochlle, Matthew and Earl of Mt. Vernon, Thomas of Bluford, and Henry and Donald at home; two daughters, Mrs. Ethel Taylor of Aden, and Mrs. Louise Joy of Arlington, Va.; one brother, John Fox of Nineveh, Ind.; 22 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
