Rosalie A. Ratajczyk, 64, of Scheller passed away 5:55 a.m. Jan. 26, 2006, at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale.

Mrs. Ratajczyk was a homemaker.

She had worked at Hollywood Brands in Centralia until 1983 and at Addus HealthCare in Mt. Vernon.

She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Sesser. She was also active in the American Cancer Society.

She was born Nov. 7, 1941, in Centralia, a daughter of Elza W. and Alma (Pollacci) Reeves.

She married Robert E. Ratajczyk July 28, 1977, in Mt. Vernon; he survives.

She is survived by her husband, of Scheller; a daughter, Christine M. (Ratajczyk) Tyson of St. Louis; a son-in-law, Matthew Tyson of St. Louis; two brothers, Tom Reeves and Alfred Reeves, both of Alexandria, Va.; and a sister, Tammy Reeves of Centralia.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Ramona Lucas.

Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Sesser, with the Rev. Steven Poole officiating. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Searby Funeral Home in Tamaroa. Interment will be in Maple Hill Cemetery in Sesser.
