Fred L. Ratliff of 1204 north 12th street died at 5:00 pm Tuesday at the Lowry Nursing Home at the age of 81 years, five months and 16 days.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete. The body has been taken to Myers Chapel.

Mr. Ratliff was born Aug. 12, 1882, in Jefferson county, the son of Charles A. and Mary Ann (Stonecypher) Ratliff.

On April 22, 1919, he was married to Katherine Schick, who preceded him in death.

He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Marjorie Hogue of San Jose, Calif., Mrs. Opal Loss of Reddick, Ill., and Miss Rose Mary Ratliff of New York City.

Mr. Ratliff was a member of the First Community church.
