Mrs. Katherine Ratliff, wife of Fred Ratliff, died late yesterday afternoon at her home, 610 S. 24th street. Her age was 57 years and 6 months.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday at the Hopewell Methodist Church, northeast of Mt. Vernon. The Rev. Joe Harris will officiate and burial will be in Hopewell Cemetery. The body will remain at the Osborn Funeral Home in Dix until 5:00 p.m. today, then will be brought to the family home here, where friends may call at any time.

Mrs. Ratliff was born December 18, 1891 in Caborn, Ind. the daughter of Peter and Anna (Worth) Schick.

On April 22, 1919 she was married to Fred Ratliff, who survives.

She was a member of the Emanuel Evangelical Church of Caborn, Ind.

Surviving besides her husband, are three daughters, Mrs. Faye Opal Loss and Mrs. Marjorie Katherine Hogue of Mt. Vernon and Miss Rose Mary, at home; two brothers, George Schick of Mt. Vernon, Ind., and Fred Schick; and five sisters, Mrs. Lena Hoffman and Miss Margaret Schick of Ontario, Calif., Mrs. Bettie Kaffenberger of Cincinnati, Ohio and Mrs. Mary Wehr and Mrs. Anna Lasher of Evansville, Ind.
