Arthur Rector of Texico Dies Arthur Rector, 69, died Sunday afternoon at Jefferson County Memorial Hospital following a short illness. He was a retired farmer and lived at Texico. His funeral will be held at Union Chapel church, Tuesday at 2 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Sam McCoy. Burial will be in Union Chapel cemetery. Mr. Rector was born June 6, 1878, the son of Lyle and Catherine (Minor) Rector. He was married to Miss Louise Lisenby in 1897. He is survived by his wife and four daughters, Mrs. Flossie Eller, Texico, Mrs. Bessie Taylor, Kell and Mrs. Ruby Whitson and Beulah McDaniel of Mount Vernon. Two sons, Everett and Harold are deceased. Also surviving are three brothers, Orley and Earl of Mount Vernon and Acy of Creal Spring. One brother and one sister preceded him in death. The body will be removed from the Osborn Funeral Home in Dix to the home of Mrs. Beulah McDaniel, 1008 Warren Avenue, Mount Vernon, to lie in state until the funeral.
