Mrs. Andy REED, whose death was announced yesterday, was 56 years of age, and was born in Cape Girardeau county, Mo.

When a little girl she came her parents to Washington, removing thence, with her husband, to this city in 1873.

Her husband and three children, Mrs. Nelse SATTERFIELD, John and Walter, survive her, as does her only sister, Mrs. Wm. BLAIR, whose extreme age is a surety that it won't be long until they meet again.

In the absence of her pastor, Rev. J. F. HARMON, funeral services were conducted by Rev. W. A. BROWDER at the First M. E. church, at 1:30 this afternoon, with interment at Oakwood.

DEATHS

Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Crain died, of pneumonia, at their home at Tilden last week. Mr. and Mrs. Crain formerly lived in this city.

Mrs. Sarah Reed, wife of Andy Reed, died at Tilden Monday and was taken to Mt. Vernon Tuesday for burial. Mrs. Reed was a former resident of this city and her death was a particularly sad one. She had been called to Tilden owing to the death of her brother at that place and while there took sick and passed away after an illness of a few days.
