Dies Suddenly at Home

Melvin L. Richardson, 53 of Rochelle, died suddenly at his home Thursday morning, May 15.

He was born March 2, 1916 at Wayne City, the son of Mrs. and Mrs. Delbert Richardson. He married Betty Trout at Mt. Vernon June 12, 1944.

Services will be Saturday at 1:30 p.m. in the Foursquare church with the Rev. Vernon Rayphole officiating. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Unger Funeral Home.

Richardson was a member of the Foursquare church and the Loyal Order of the Moose.

he is survived by his wife; two sons, Tommy at home and Gary; one daughter, Mrs. Charles Lamb; five brothers, Layland of Opdyke, Harold and Bobby of Mount Morris and Raymond and Bill of Rochelle; one sister, Mrs. Donald Trout of BelleRive and 3 grandchildren.

His father and stepmother reside at BelleRive.
