Mrs. Lillie Samantha RIGGS, of 1615 S. 10th Street, died at 7:00 o'clock last night at Jefferson Memorial Hospital, where she had been a patient for the past two days. She was 65 years, 10 months, and 25 days of age.

Funeral arrangements were incomplete today. The body was taken to Myers Chapel.

Mrs. RIGGS was born October 25, 1893 in Marion County, Ill., the daughter of Richard Lee and Sarah (HAWKINS) HARMON.

In 1932, she was married, at Marion, Ill., to S. E. RIGGS, who survives.

Mrs. RIGGS was a member of the Belle Rive Community Church.

Besides her husband, she is survived by three daughters, Virginia BOYD of DuQuoin, Irene BUBE of Mt. Vernon, and Ruby BRASEL of Sumner, Ill.; two sisters, Mrs. Mell BRENTON of Mt. Vernon and Mrs. Cora BAIRD of Kell; a brother, Jake HARMON of Mt. Vernon; and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two children.
