Cecile Rightnowar Of Mt. Vernon Died At Age 91 Cecile Dana Rightnowar, 91, Route 5, Mt. Vernon, died 3:25 a.m. May 17, 1993 at Good Samaritan Regional Health Center. Mrs. Rightnowar was born Oct. 2, 1901, in Jefferson County, a daughter of William T. and Charlette (Piper) Keaton. Feb. 3, 1923, she married Johnnie Cecil Hayes, who died in 1942. Later she married Homer Rightnowar, who preceded her in death. Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Pleasant Grove Cemetery with the Rev. Lyndell Williamson officiating. Those attending the graveside services are asked to go directly to the cemetery Thursday afternoon. Per request of Mrs. Rightnowar, no public visitation will be held. The family is being served by Hughey Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon. Mrs. Rightnowar is survived by one son, William R. Hayes and wife, Edna, of Kell; two daughters, Yvonne Jones and husband, Calvin, and Virginia Lowery, both of Mt. Vernon; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; two stepsons, Earl Rightnowar and wife, Geneva, of Mt. Vernon and Jim Rightnowar and wife, Betty of Toledo, Ohio; three stepdaughters, Ora Ramsey of Mt. Vernon, Ann Palmer and husband, Keith, of Palm Springs, Calif., and Evelyn Silvent of Stuart, Fla., one brother, Troy Keaton of Mt. Vernon; several step-grandchildren and stepgreat-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Rightnowar was a Baptist. In addition to both husbands, she was preceded in death by her parents; two grandchildren; one sister, three brothers; and one stepson, Paul Rightnowar.
