Risley Rites Held At Bonnie

Funeral services for John Logan Risley were to be conducted at 1:00 a.m. today at the Baptist church in Bonnie, with the Rev. Elmer Tice officiating. Burial was to be in Kirk cemetery.

Mr. Risley, 80, of Bonnie, died Saturday morning in Good Samaritan Hospital.

He was bom April 7, 1884. in Franklin county, the son of Henry and Cora (Purnell) (sic.) Risley.

Survivors include three sons, Roy Risley of Kankakee, Raymond and Jeff Risley, both of Mt. Vernon; a daughter, Mrs. Mary M. Strain of Bonnie; three brothers, Tom Risley of Sullivan, Ill., Oscar Risley of Sesser, and Lawrence Risley of Macedonia; three sisters, Mrs. Lillie Huffstutler of Macedonia, Mrs. Maggie Brown of Sesser, and Mrs. Ella Ozie of Rock Island, Ill.; 15 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Mr. Risley was preceded in death by his wife, a daughter, and a son.
