Funeral For J.W. Ritchie Tuesday

J. W. Ritchie, 69 [should be 68] died at his home in Webber township Sunday at 1:30 p.m.

He is survived by his wife, the former Mary Jackson, and 3 daughters, Mrs. Amnida [should be Arminda] Tower of Della Plain [should be Delaplaine], Ark., Mrs. Grace Martin of Mt. Vernon and Mrs. Mary Byars of Keenes.

He was the last survivor of a family of seven children of Thomas and Sarah (Courtney) Ritchie, natives of Kentucky.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at Hickory Hill, conducted by the Rev. Bird Green and the Rev. S. E. Cole. The body will remain at Osborn's Funeral Home in Dix until 4:30 p.m. Tuesday and after 5:30 p.m. that day will be at the family home.

Note: John Ritchie died May 9, 1943
