Mary Ritchie Of RFD 2, Bluford Dies at Age 69

Mrs. Mary Ritchie died at 3:30 a.m. today at her home on RFD 2, Bluford, at the age of 69 years, four months and six days.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at East Hickory Hill church. The Rev. H. H. Mayberry will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.

Friends may call at the Osborn Funeral Home in Dix after 5:00 p.m. today and at the family home after 2:00 p.m. Wednesday.

Mrs. Ritchie was born November 16, 1885 in Bluford, the daughter of Lee and Arminda (Humphrey) Jackson.

She was married in 1905 to J. W. Ritchie, who preceded her in death in 1943.

She is survived by three daughters, Minda Tower of Delaplan [should be Delaplaine], Ark., and Grace Martin and Mary Chambliss of Bluford; eight grandchildren and one great grandchild; one brother, Fred Jackson of RFD 7, Mt. Vernon; two sisters, Alice Boyd of RFD 7, Mt. Vernon and Miss Ora Jackson, of Bluford.

Two brothers and one sister preceded her in death.
