SESSER - Donna Marie Roberts, 65, went home to be with the Lord at 12:40 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2007, in Franklin Hospital in Benton.

Donna was born on Dec. 4, 1941, in the Waltonville area of Jefferson County, a daughter of James and Ivy (Bradley) Loman.

She married Cecil G. Roberts on Jan. 24, 1960, in Woodlawn, who survives.

Donna attended the Grace Community Church in Mount Vernon and was a graduate of Waltonville High School. She dearly loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and loved to cook for her family and many friends.

Donna is survived by her husband of 47 years; two daughters, Tamra Renee Roberts of West Frankfort and Tonya Lori Roberts of Waltonville; two sons, Timothy Gene Roberts and Terry and wife Tammy (Brewer) Roberts of Sesser; five grandchildren, Angela Kay Dismore Jennings of West City, Shelbi and Steven Roberts of Sesser, and Haven Marie Roberts and Hannah Gracie Hopper of Waltonville; three great-grandchildren, Lauren, Kailey and Elijah Aaron Jennings of West City; two sisters, Geri Wakup of Brookfield and Ina Whittsell of Mount Vernon; three brothers, Harrison Loman of Elkville, William J. Loman of Sesser and Kenneth Loman of Mt. Vernon.

Mrs. Roberts was preceded in death by both her parents; four brothers, Homer, Harold, Donald and Max Loman; and two sisters, Betty June Loman and Ruth Ann Hanes.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 25, 2007, in Davis Funeral Chapel in Sesser, with Pastor David Fields officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery in Sesser. Visitation will be from 5 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 24, 2007 at the chapel.
