D. L. Robertson of Bluford Dies; Rites Thursday

Dowell L. Robertson of Bluford died at 2:20 a.m. today in Good Samaritan Hospital. He was 52 years, six months and 28 days old.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the Pulley Funeral Chapel and burial will be in East Hickory Hill cemetery.

The body will lie in state at the Pulley Funeral Home where friends may call after 10 a.m. tomorrow.

Mr. Robertson was born Jan. 8, 1906 in Cobden, ILL., the son of Leroy and Flora (Lockeybey) Robertson.

On April 3, 1929, he was married to Florence Davis, who survives.

Other survivors include his mother, Mrs. Floe Robertson, of Mt. Vernon; two sons, Bob and Billy Robertson of Bluford; three daughters, Mrs. Betty Richardson of Bluford, ILL, and Langdon of Chester, ILL., and Mrs. Jean Thackrey of Mt. Vernon; three brothers, Claude Robertson of Bluford and Bill and Leslie Robertson of this city.
