Kirby E. Rogers, 80, of rural Scheller, died early today, May 18, 1977, in the Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon.

Mr. Rogers was born June 15, 1895, in Jefferson County to Alva and Adealine Rogers.

He was married to Goldie Asbury, She died May 12, 1974.

Survivors are a son, Leslie of Salem; a sister, Mable Ericson of Denver, Colo.; a brother, Coy of Sesser and three grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the Brayfield Funeral Home in Sesser. Burial will be in the Maple Hill Cemetery in Sesser. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
