Thomas Edward Roland
Son Of Former Residents Badly Hurt In Accident Thomas Edward Roland, 15 year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Roland of Sesser, is in critical condition today from injuries suffered Monday afternoon when he was struck by an automobile while riding his bicycle. The Rolands are former residents of Mt. Vernon. Thomas was riding his bicycle a half mile east of Sesser when the accident occurred. He was taken to St. Luke's Hospital in St. Louis, where is (sic.) reported to be suffering from brain concussion and other severe injuries. *Note* Burial Place Horse Prairie Cemetery, Franklin County, IL Here is his Findagrave Memorial showing he was born in 1942.
