Charles A. Russell, 69, of Champaign, died yesterday at 3:20 am in the Champaign Nursing Home.

He was a former resident of Bluford.

Survivors include one son, Robert Russell; one brother, Oscar Russell of Christopher; and one sister, Mrs. J. C. Swofford of Champaign.

The body has been taken to the Russell Funeral Home in Christopher where friends may call at any time.

Funeral services will be conducted at Hopewell Church, northeast of Mt. Vernon, at 2 pm tomorrow. Rev. Bird Green will officiate and burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery.
