Bobbie Sailor
(photo included) *WASHINGTON* - Bobbie Sailor, 78, of Washington, Ill., died at 8:55 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 21, 2009, at his home. Born on Feb. 15, 1931, in Mt. Vernon, Ill., to Allen and Ruth Staggs Sailor, he married Treva Coil on Oct. 29, 1950, in Keenes, Ill. She survives. Also surviving are four daughters, Dianna (Michael) Grebner and Connie Sailor, both of Washington, Ill., Debra (Dan) Wilson of Keller, Texas, and Linda Sailor of Springfield, Ill.; three sisters, Aldene Johnson of Edmond, Okla., Betty Payne of Wayne City, Ill., and Brenda Howard of Washington, Ill.; eight grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; six great-grandchildren; 13 stepgreat-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter. Bobbie was a tool and die maker at Caterpillar Tractor Co., where he retired in 1981 after 32 years of service. After retirement, he worked as a tour guide for Caterpillar Tractor Co. He enjoyed camping, fishing and gardening. Services for Bobbie will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2009, at Deiters Funeral Home & Crematory in Washington, where visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home. The Rev. Evan Williams will officiate. Burial will be in Spring Bay Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, Sunnyland Christian Church or OSF Hospice.
