Laura Sanders, Former School Teacher, Is Dead

Mrs. Laura Matilda Sanders, of RFD 2, Mt. Vernon, Rome township, died at 5:10 Sunday morning at Good Samaritan Hospital. She was 80 years, six months and 15 days of age.

A retired school teacher, Mrs. Sanders taught for 23 years in Jefferson county.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2:00 p.m at Myers Chapel. The Rev. J.G. Parsons will officiate and burial will be in the I.O.O.F. cemetery at Woodlawn. The body will remain at Myers Chape, where friends ma call after 5:00 p.m. today.

Mrs. Sanders was born October 14, 1875 in Jefferson county, the daughter of Victor J. and Mary Jane (Robinson) Rosenberger.

She was married to John Sanders, who preceded her in death in March, 1942.

Mrs. Sanders is survived by one brother, Eugene Rosenberger of Woodlawn, and two sisters, Mrs. Eliza Campbell of Mt. Vernon and Mrs. Selma Hampton of La Russell, Mo.
