Sharon Lynn SANDERS, 58, of Benton passed away Monday morning, March 3, 2008 at the Franklin Hospital in Benton.

She was born on June 14, 1949 in Christopher, IL, the daughter of Ralph Harry & Lillie Mae (McCARTY) McCLENDON.

She was home health nurse, and had worked for several years at the Franklin Hospital.

She was married to Rodger SANDERS on November 1, 1980 at the Flatts Baptist Church, and he survives.

Sharon is also survived by three sons: Thoms MARLOW & wife Michelle of Bluford: Jason MARLOW & wife Monica of Bluford: Jared SMITHSON & wife Tamera of West Frankfort; four grandchildren: Katie, Rebecca, Jaylen & Brennan.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother: Wayne; and a sister: Patricia.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 6, 2008 at the Masonic & Oddfellows Cemetery in Benton with Rev. Ron KNOX officiating. There will be no visitation, those attending the service on Thursday are requested to meet at the Cemetery. The Morton & Johnston Funeral Home in Benton is in charge of arrangements.
