Isabelle (Ninnie) Sargent, 68, Dix, died at 4:25 pm Saturday in her home.

Mrs. Sargent was born in Irvington on Nov, 8, 1915, the daughter of Wade and Hattie (Neabuhr) Meadows.

On Oct. 21, 1936, in Benton, she married Lloyd (Bill) Sargent, who preceded her in death on Oct. 29, 1982.

She was a member of the Calvary United Pentecostal Church.

Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Wednesday in the Osborn Funeral Home in Dix with the Rev. Richard Pearce officiating. Burial will follow in the Boyd Cemetery. Friends may call after 6 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.

She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. James (Cleta) Modglin and Mrs. Terry (Connie) Bradshaw, both of Dix. and Kay Cook of Sandoval; one brother John Meadows of Mt. Vernon; seven grandchildren, Jim Shields who was raised in her home, Lisa and Steve Cook, Robbie and Kayla Modglin, and Lucy and Abby Bradshaw.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Charles, one sister, and five brothers.
