Clinella Mae Savage , age 74, of Gulfport, Mississippi, formerly of Mt. Vernon died Thursday, February 2, 2006, at her residence in Gulfport.

She was born September 6, 1931, in Mt. Vernon, Illinois, daughter of Adam Savage and Martha (Curtis) Schutte.

She married Marion Savage in August 5, 1949 in Henderson, Kentucky, and he preceded her in death on August 14, 1994.

Clinella is survived by one son, Eric Savage and wife Kathy of Magnolia, Delaware; one daughter, Dr. Debra Elaine Rogers and husband Roy of Jackson, Mississippi; four grandchildren, Christopher and Rachel Rogers, Jennifer and Benjamin Savage; two brothers, Marlin Schutte and wife Marilyn of Rochester, New York and June Schutte and wife Betty of Sacramento, California; sister-in-law, Annie Boger of Topeka, Kansas; and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Her husband and her parents preceded Clinella in death.

Clinella Mae was a member of the Gulfport Methodist Church. Graveside

Services were held Monday, February 6, 2006, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Cemetery in Mt. Vernon. Those attending the service are asked to gather at the cemetery. Mr. Randy Sells officiated.
