Ruth Scott Of Wayne City DIes.

Miss Ruth Burnis Scott, 38, a resident of rural Wayne City, died at 11:45 Thursday at her home.

Her funeral will be held Sunday at 1 p.m. at Richardson Chapel in Wayne City, conducted by the Rev. H. H. Mayberry. Burial will be in Thomason Cemetery.

The body will lie in state at the chapel.

Miss Scott was born in Vermillion county, Ill., February 14, 1928, the daughter of Harry and Mae (Hodgen) Scott.

She is survived by her father and mother; five brothers, George of Merced, Calif; Marvin of Memphis; Glenn of Rancho Cardona, Calif; Jack and Darrell of Elgin; one sister, Ruby Kraut of Elgin.
