Ethel K. Sexton Rites Tomorrow At 2:00 O'clock

Funeral services for Mrs. Ethel Katherine Sexton, of RFD 4, Mt. Vernon, will be held Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at the Epworth Methodist church.

The Rev. E.W. Fox and the Rev. John Ditterline will officiate and burial will follow in Opdyke cemetery. Friends may call at any time at Myers Chapel. At noon Tuesday the body will be removed to the church, to lie in state until the funeral hour.

Mrs. Sexton died at 10:35 a.m. Saturday at Good Samaritan Hospital, at the age of 60 years, seven months and 22 days.

She was born August 28, 1896 in Jefferson county, the daughter of Alonzo M. and Sarah Jane (Waite) Payne.

She was a lifetime citizen of this county.

She was married to Cephas Sexton, who preceded her in death November 16, 1946.

Mrs. Sexton was a member of the Liberty Methodist church.

She is survived by four sisters, Cora Hutchison of Grant Park, Ill., Effie Auten of Rupert, Idaho, Myrtle King of Acequia, Idaho, and Cecile Summers of Mt. Vernon.

Her husband, parents, one sister and one brother preceded her in death.
