Patricia Ann Sharp, 64, of Mt Vernon died June 3, 2002, at the home of her daughter in Heber, Arizona.

She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Sharp was born June 22, 1937, in Waltonville, to Willie and Opal (Dillon) Pittman.

She first married Robert W. Grider and eight children were born to that marriage; he preceded her in death.

She later married Robert John Sharp Dec. 7, 1972, in Perryville, Mo., and they had two children; he died on July 31, 1990.

Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at South Hickory HillCemetery in Jefferson County. Those attending this service are asked to go directly to the cemetery on Friday. Linda Beavers will officiate. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Hughey Funeral Home.

Mrs. Sharp is survived by six sons, Sean Sharp and wife Brandy of Opdyke, Michael Sharp of Mt. Vernon, Robert Grider and wife Sandy of Centralia, Aaron Grider of Mt. Vernon, Wesley Grider and wife Liz of Mt. Vernon, and Randy Grider and wife Andrea of Woodlawn; four daughters, Nola Martin and husband Bill of Cora City, Linda Beavers and husband Spence of Heber, Ariz., Regina Ann Houser of Chidester, Ark., and Salina Kephart and husband Glen of LaPine, Oregon; one brother, John Pittman of Erie; one sister, Millie Rogers of Silvas; one aunt, Pauline Gossage of Mt. Vernon; also 19 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one great-grandchild on the way.

She was of the Christian faith.
