William Shelton Of Bonnie Died At Age 58 William Shelton, 58, Bonnie, a retired coal miner, died at 5:15 p.m. Wednesday at his home. Mr. Shelton was born in Sumner Nov. 14, 1923, the son of Gale and Mary (Claspell) Shelton. On Aug. 22, 1953, in Mt. Vernon, he married Sylvia Bean, and she survives. Mr. Shelton was an Army veteran of World War II and was a member of the Full Gospel Faith and the United Mine Workers of America. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Fry-Frick Funeral Chapel in Waltonville with the Rev. David Mays officiating. Burial will follow in Rightnowar Cemetery north of Waltonville. Friends may call after 6 p.m. Friday at the funeral chapel. In addition to his wife, survivors include two sons, Michael Shelton of Ina and Steven Shelton of Bonnie; one daughter, Kristina Diane Shelton at home; two brothers David Shelton of Virden and Francis Murray of Cedar Lake, Ind.; and several nieces and nephews.
