RITES HERE FOR WOMAN KILLED BY STREETCAR Mrs. Della Sheridan Victim of St. Louis Accident, Funeral Wednesday Mrs. Della Sheridan, 60, former resident of Ina and Mt. Vernon who was employed in St. Louis as a practical nurse, was killed by a streetcar in a crowded downtown shopping district of St. Louis. Mrs. Sheridan, who had a home in Mt. Vernon, had been working at 4312 Murdock Avenue in St. Louis for about the past two years. Before coming to Mt. Vernon, she had been living at Ina. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Mt. Vernon and funeral services will be held in the church here at 2 p.m. tomorrow. The Rev. Robert Larson of Decatur, IL will officiate at the services and burial will be in the Kirk Cemetery at Ina. The body was taken to the Mitchell Funeral Home in Benton, IL today. Mrs. Sheridan is survivied by one son, Glen Sweetin, of Chester, IL and one daughter, Mrs. J. Carl Neal, of Benton. She is also survived by two grandchildren.
