ERSIE SHOEMATE, age 74 of 628 Joplin, Benton died Sunday November 24, 1985 in Skilled Nursing Care Unit of Franklin Hopsital

She was a member of the First Christian Church in Benton where funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 11 am Rev. Dale CARSON will officiate and burial in Kirk Cemetery at Ina.

Poulson FuneralHome in Benton is in charge and visitation will be after 10 am on Wednesday at the Church.

Memorials may be made to the Church.

She was a native of Jefferson County, born March 9, 1911 to Henry and Grace (KOONCE) ARNOLD.

She was the wife of Fred SHOEMATE, who preceded her in death.

She is survived by adaughter Dee SMOLLER of Skokie and two grandchildren.
