Mrs. Rose Almilda Smith, wife of Herbert H. Smith, and daughter of Joseph and Lorinda Crosno, on April 5, 1903.

The funeral services were held last Tuesday afternoon atthe residence 7 miles from town, and the interment was made at the Green Mound Cemetery where a brief but touching service was held.

Mrs. Smith was born in Jefferson county, Illinois, on July 12, 1864, and would therefore have been 39 years of age on her next birthday.
