AGED WOMAN FOUND DEAD SATURDAY AT HER HOME IN INA Mrs. Edith Leona SMITH widow of John SMITH was found dead at her home in Ina at 7:30 yesterday morning. Her age was 66 years and 10 days. Coroner Dr. G. L. TAYLOR conducted an investigation into her death, determining that the death was due to heart trouble. Mrs. SMITH was born in Opdyke July 28, 1871, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Marion SMITH. Her parents preceded her in death. A devoted woman, she was a member of the Methodist Church. Funeral services were held at three O’ Clock this afternoon at Hawkins Funeral Home, conducted by Rev. Edwin LINDER and burial followed in Opdyke Cemetery. She is survived by her son John SMITH of Mt. Vernon; and three sisters, Mrs. Pearl RONEY of Columbia City, Indiana, Mrs. J. W. SIREMAN of Stratport, Texas and Mrs. Dana WEIGAND of Los Vegas, New Mexico.
