Frank Smith, 47, Dies in Champaign

Frank Smith, 47, a former resident of Scheller, died at 4:30 pm yesterday in Champaign, Ill.

Mr. Smith, son of J.E. and Effie B. (Kirkpatrick) Smith, was born and reared at Scheller. he was a graduate of Mt. Vernon highschool and the University of Illinois.

He was a nephew of Mrs. J.W. Wells of Waltonville.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2:00 pm at the First Presbyterian church in Champaign. The body will remain at the Heath Funeral in Champaign until the funeral hour.

Mr. Smith had been an agent for Life Equitable Insurance Co. in Champaign since his graduation from the university.
